Decent place to go for gas. Food is ok. It's not bad, but nowhere close as good as it used to be.
What I will say is that it is a stop all store in a convenient location.
Love this store ~ it has a Really good grill serving food all day ~ good food at good prices & a hardware section that has had things I needed that r hard to find

Gas prices could be better, I never get gas from here, so, that is the only bad.
I'm a country girl so I loved the feel of this store! With the recent drawer attention to the racial tensions in this country my husband and I are usually peculiar and cautious about stopping in small towns. However, this was awesome, we received warm friendly customer service and awesome interaction with the customers. This is how South Carolinians should always be with each other and visitors. Being from SC stopping at this store made me proud to say we are truly from a state with beautiful places and smiling faces. I've visited Loris several times before given I attended Coastal Carolina and I have a best friend, who is from there. However to be honest I have only interacted with her family or the places she took me so I had never been to this part of Loris. As stated usually my husband and I are typically worried about the interaction and reception of black people when stopping places on back roads but getting out of the car with customers pumping gas that are smiling, waiving, and starting small talk we felt comfortable and knew going in the store would be the same, and it was. If every small town in the South took a page out of the book of Mt.Vernon's grocery store in Loris things may not be perfect in this country but they'd sure be better. This is definitely a repeat stop on our travels from Springlake, NC to Myrtle Beach SC.
Food is fresh, I only ever get a chicken biscuit with cheese but yeah its good, hardware id's really cool, and I like the guy that works back there, very helpful and sells quality goods. Prices all around could be cheaper, cigarette red bulls all that stuff I get else where. Its only by 20 cents here 50 there nothing crazy but still.
